5. Head/Hair Tossing

The head toss is a common sign with most women; it's a well-documented flirting technique that enables them to show off their neck indicating sexual availability.  Women who have long hair are more likely to do this because they have more to work with; they may even play with their hair by seductively twisting it around their fingers.  A woman's hair can play an important part when it comes to letting you know if she's interested.

Head/hair tossing is a great way for her to be seductive without trying too hard, especially during a conversation.  By tossing their hair over their shoulders or placing it to one-side, they're giving you a view of their neck and back.  When touched, these are two areas that can be very sensitive and are integral in foreplay.  Don't worry - this also works with women that have short hair.  The part of the neck that she has her hand on could symbolize the area that's most sensitive to her.  Pay attention to small details like this, they may become useful later on.

Signs That The Game Should Be Forfeited

When a woman isn’t interested, she will definitely let you know.  But, again, it may be up to you to decode the signs.  Just like she uses body language to tell you that she is interested, she will also body language to tell you when she isn’t.

Eye contact is an integral tool in that it may be the key signal to tell you whether or not to make a move.  If the woman you are interested in is unresponsive to your gaze, it may be a confident sign that she might not be that interested in you.  Many men ‘make a move’ after a woman gives them a quick glance. It’s important not to make this for ‘positive eye contact’ and use this as a positive sign.  She may just be checking out the room and the scene.

If you have relied on that specific, quick glance and you're already halfway across the room, observe her body language to see whether it changes at all when she sees you approaching.  If she seems awkward and takes a few steps back or turns her chest away from you, then it's likely that things are not going well and you should probably abort.  If you do get close to her after ignoring or misreading the signs, then you may notice that she quickly becomes fidgety, awkward, rude or sarcastic - this is because she's uncomfortable with the situation.  

Some women, while pretending to look somewhere else, may move their heads in the opposite direction of you.  They're doing this in an attempt to avoid that potentially uncomfortable situation.  Instead of simply telling you they’re not interested, most women let their body speak for them.  Don’t let the situation get to you or throw off your night.  Remember, one woman's loss is another woman's gain!

It’s a Numbers Game

When looking at the art of flirting, we must take into account the numbers. Some experts believe that it only takes “between 90 seconds and 4 minutes” (BBC) for a person to become attracted to someone.
 
Next time, before acting foolish, look at the signs, distinguish between them and close the deal.  You still may not be able to read her mind but reading her body language is the next best thing.
