The Future Of Travel

Similarly, bicycles are becoming the next eco-friendly rage. There are more and more bike lots popping up daily with a daily rental fee that is much cheaper than cab fare. Without a doubt, the most riveting advancements for the future of travel are commercial trips to outer space. Straight out of an H.G. Wells novel, the Virgin Galactic, owned by the Virgin Group, will soon make an actual out-of-this-world experience possible for tourists. For approximately $200,000 per ride, you can travel out of the Earth’s atmosphere and into space. In two and a half hours, space flights reach outer space. Its trajectory will still overlap earth’s atmosphere at 70,000 feet by making it a sub-orbital journey rather than a full orbital one. In other words, you are outer space but you will still have a toe dangling in Earth’s atmosphere.
These spacecrafts will hold up to six passengers and two pilots while traveling at three times the speed of sound. This journey will present the most stunning view of planet Earth. The opportunity to experience complete weightlessness is another highlight of this excursion. Afterward, passengers will descend back to earth and participate in a celebration to commemorate this accomplishment of human space travel. This ‘Wing’ ceremony will take place upon the return of each flight.
Commercial trips to outer space will arguably be the most exotic and exciting travel destination. The anticipated year of lift off is 2010. Two hundred passengers, including celebrities like William Shatner, will encounter the ride of a lifetime. The future of space tourism is just around the corner and Virgin Galactic will take you to that final frontier.
