Interview With Trapt

SM: You got signed back in 2002. How has that affected your personality, or has it?
T: I don't think that has changed our personality, hopefully when one gets a step up in their career their personality doesn't change.
SM: Well, this question I have here is kinda funny; who in the group has become the most full of themselves?
T: Haha, always the singer, dude. Regardless of the group. I think the order is singer, lead guitarist, drummer, then bass player. But honestly, I don't think there is a need to think that you're better than other people. You just need to get things done, that's all, and make sure that everyone is working as hard as they can.
You know, when you're constantly travelling, and the years are going by, you're just that much more aware to everything around you. Travelling opens your eyes to different realities.
SM: What's the best city that you've been in to party at?
T: That would have to Vegas. I guess in Canada it's Vancouver. Toronto's pretty cool as well.
SM: Would you guys say that you are headstrong?
T: Yea, sure. We are all stubborn in our own way. We want to do things our way.
SM: Have you been in a fight? As a band?
T: Yea, with like 30 guys once. Got out of there in time...
SM: Who is the ladies' man in the group?
T: All of us. Actually our bus driver.
SM: What would you tell our readers about being a real man?
T: Learn how to play a guitar, and join a rock band. Grow a beard at least once a year?
SM: Any drunken regrets?
T: Too many to list. Especially in an interview.
SM: If you could go back in time, would you still start a band?
T: Yea, definitely. Even more so.
SM: Best of luck with the rest of your tour, and with your album.
