People trying to quit are more likely to quit for good if they are part of a regular support group. Research shows that people in quit-smoking support groups are more likely to conquer addiction and quit for life. Support groups provide a safe and comfortable environment where members at different recovery stages gather to share their struggles with quitting and praise each others progress.
